Volunteer Job Descriptions
The Lighting Team prepares and operates the equipment used to light the Worship Center on Sundays. They focus on illuminating properly, creating atmosphere, and focusing attention. (Training is provided.)
The Audio Team is responsible for the set-up, monitoring, and adjustment of all Worship Center audio equipment. Their role is to support the band, speaker, and all on-stage personnel as they lead or communicate to the audience on Sunday. They focus on facilitating worship and communication, focusing attention, and removing distractions. (Training is provided.)
Media & Video Team
The Media & Video Team prepares and operates the equipment necessary to display any graphics that are needed to enhance the live video (ie: worship lyrics, Bible verses, etc.). They focus on enhancing and delivering the worship and the message, creating visual appeal, focusing attention, and supporting the communicator. (Training is provided.)
The Stage Team directs the flow of people and props from the back of the stage. They focus on creating the environment, enhancing visual communication, and supporting the communicator.
The Stage Design Team meets regularly to discuss creative ways to enhance the Sunday morning environment.
Musicians and vocalists lead Neighborhood with music on Sunday morning. (An audition and a commitment to attend rehearsals is required.)
If you want to reach people with a message, you’ve got to be where they are. So that’s why Neighborhood Church is present on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, … you get the point! The Social Media team will serve to connect and engage with others in these networks.
